Department Information

The Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) program is for students whose career goal is to work in the health professions providing service to individuals and communities. BHS students are typically pursuing health related professions such as medicine, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, audiology, speech-language pathology, dentistry, epidemiology, or public health.

 Curriculum

The minor is open to all students who meet the prerequisites, except for Health Science majors in the Applied Brain Science specialization. Health Science majors in the Preprofessional specialization can substitute CHM 2045 for the APK 2105C prerequisite requirement. Health Science majors in the Pre-Rehabilitation specialization can substitute BSC 2005 for the BSC 2010 prerequisite requirement.

Prerequisites

Completion of prerequisite courses does not guarantee admission to the minor. 

Students will only be considered for the minor if all prerequisites are complete prior to applying.
