Program Information
The Department of Landscape Architecture offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) degree in Landscape Architecture. A Ph.D. degree with a concentration in Landscape Architecture is also offered through the College of Design, Construction and Planning. Minimum requirements for these degrees are given in the Graduate Degrees section of this catalog.
Master of Landscape Architecture: The First Professional MLA is a Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited professional Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Graduation from an accredited program is an essential first step toward licensing in Florida and other states that regulate the practice of landscape architecture.
