Curriculum
The Center for Arts in Medicine's certificate in visual arts in medicine is open to all students and accepts applications November 1 through April 30.
Application Procedures
Students interested in obtaining this certificate should apply to the program by their sophomore year. Students from any major may apply to the program, but must complete at least 50% of certificate requirements after they have been accepted into the program.
The application process includes:
- Completion of the online application (students should email when they submit the application)
- Submission of a one-page personal statement (students should email their submission)
Requirements
To qualify for the certificate, students must attain a 3.0 average in all courses included in the certificate curriculum within six months of graduation.
