About this Program

Admission to the dance minor requires the completion of Basic Modern Dance at UF with a minimum grade of B. Students then will meet with the dance minor advisor for approval to enter the program and to establish a program of study.

The minor is comprised of a core of 10-11 credits plus 6-7 credits of emphasis as approved by the advisor. At least 12 of these credits must be completed at UF. It normally takes four semesters to complete the minor.

DAA 1000 does not count towards the minor.
