The Meteorology minor offers courses in foundational areas of meteorology, climatology, and relevant data analysis techniques. With weather and climate impacting an ever-increasing number of industries and careers, the minor complements a wide variety of undergraduate majors.

Department Information

The Geography Department offers a range of topics in contemporary geography and geospatial science, rich and lively cultural and learning environments, BA and BS undergraduate degrees, MA, M.S., and PhD degrees, as well as the largest Medical Geography program in the United States.

 Curriculum

Not open to students majoring in Meteorology. 

Nine credit hours must be taken from the UF Department of Geography. Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
