Philosophy

minor

A philosophy minor provides a significant amount of training and practice in philosophy that complements a wide variety of other areas of study. Courses in the theory of knowledge, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of language, for example, can add useful perspectives on majors in the natural sciences, political science, and linguistics. Many students with an interest in data science and artificial intelligence benefit from the skills gained by a philosophy minor given the opportunity to take courses in philosophy of mind, logic, and epistemology.
